Terms for media placements on the LaplandVibes network.
These terms apply to the purchase of advertising and visibility products across the LaplandVibes network (laplandvibes.com/media). The service is provided by Lapeso Oy, Finland.
Products are intended for businesses and sole traders (B2B only).
Partner package: a one-time start fee that includes a permanent feature article and a premium ad placement on the chosen site for one winter season. Visibility then continues one winter season at a time until the client cancels.
Seasons: the winter season runs 1 November–30 April and the summer season 1 May–31 October. The summer season is available separately. The season being purchased is identified by year in the price list and the order confirmation (e.g. winter season 2026–2027 = 1 Nov 2026–30 Apr 2027).

Payment is accepted by credit/debit card (Stripe) or by invoice. Invoice payment terms are 14 days net. Late payment interest is charged in accordance with Finnish interest legislation.
The operating company, Lapeso Oy, is below the Finnish small-business VAT-registration threshold (€20,000 / 12 months, Finnish VAT Act AVL 3 §) and is not registered for VAT. The listed prices are the final amounts — no VAT is added (VAT-exempt sale, AVL 3 §). If turnover later requires VAT registration, this clause will be updated and the applicable VAT (currently 25.5%) will be added for non-business buyers.
Invoice-based orders are confirmed separately — a booking is binding only once a written confirmation has been issued.
The price list is reviewed periodically and may change without advance notice for new orders.
The price of a rolling monthly subscription may be changed with at least 30 days' prior notice. Founding rates are locked in for 12 months from the subscription start date.
The renewal season (winter) of a partner package is invoiced according to the price list in force. Any price change is notified at least 30 days before the new winter season begins, at which point the client may continue or cancel.
The price of a fixed-term period (e.g. a season ad placement) will not change during the agreed period.
The client supplies the materials required for publication (logo, image, copy, URL), or LaplandVibes may draft the feature article on the client's behalf, based on the client's website and wishes, for approval before publication. Placements go live within three business days of receiving the materials or approval.
All paid placements are labelled with a Partner indicator.
LaplandVibes reserves the right to decline publication of, or to remove, any content that is unlawful, misleading, or incompatible with the network's brand. In such cases a pro-rata refund for the unused period will be issued.
A partner package feature article remains published permanently. When a paid premium period ends (e.g. the winter season finishes, payment is not made, or the agreement is cancelled), the premium ad placement and the article's promoted (paid) position are released and the article moves to the standard listing — visibility drops — but the article itself and its links remain on the site for as long as the LaplandVibes network is in operation.
Changes and updates to a published ad or article (e.g. new images, updated copy or offering, seasonal swaps) are charged according to the price list in force.
Custom work and special requests not included in the purchased product are charged at the hourly rate in the price list. Such work is agreed and approved by the client before it begins.
Minor corrections, such as fixing a factual error or a broken link, are made free of charge.
The partner-package start fee (covering the permanent article + the winter-season premium placement) is one-time and is not refunded once production has started. The package may be cancelled before the next winter season begins; a season already paid is not refunded. Article permanence follows the clause above.
A monthly subscription may be cancelled at any time; visibility continues until the end of the paid period and no refund is given for periods already paid.
Fixed-term packages may be cancelled free of charge up to 14 days before the period starts. Once the period has begun, fixed-term packages are non-refundable.
