Rovaniemen Teatteri, the regional theatre of Lapland, is taking its play Pentti Linkola – kaltaisemme? (Pentti Linkola – Like Us?) on a tour of 10 municipalities this autumn. The tour starts in Pello on Tuesday 27 October 2026 and ends in Salla on Thursday 26 November.
The play is in Finnish. It was written by Atro Kahiluoto and Eeva Putro and directed by Eljas Liinamaa, and the cast is Henri Haakana, Kirsi Kärnä, Markku Lukka and Minna Siitonen, who also composed the music. It premiered on the theatre’s Kero stage in Rovaniemi on 5 September 2026. According to the theatre, it is not a biography of the Finnish environmental thinker Pentti Linkola: its themes are hope and losing it, the strength and powerlessness of one person, and the human cost of uncompromising views.
